Can a ceiling fan really help reduce heating costs in winter?

Yes. Warm air naturally rises and collects near the ceiling. Thanks to the winter function, our ceiling fans reverse the direction of their blades to redistribute this warmth more evenly throughout the room. This makes better use of the heat already generated, meaning your heating system may not need to work as hard to maintain a consistent, comfortable temperature, helping to reduce energy consumption.

Can it be installed on a plasterboard or false ceiling?

Yes, provided the mounting is secure enough to support the weight and vibrations of the ceiling fan. If there is a sufficiently strong metal support frame, it can be used for mounting. Otherwise, special fixings for hollow ceilings or structural reinforcement may be required, depending on the type of ceiling. Special fixings are not included. We recommend consulting a professional installer to ensure safe installation.

Can I switch the light on and off using the wall switch?

Yes, provided the appropriate electrical connections are made during installation. This allows you to control the light just like a conventional ceiling light, while using the remote control to adjust the fan speed and other functions.

How much electricity does a ceiling fan use?

Is the Brizy Bright ceiling fan bright enough to be the main light in a room?
