Frequently asked questions

How does it heat the room? Does it use a fan?

It uses natural convection heating: the heating element warms the air, which rises and circulates around the room without the need for a fan. This provides comfortable warmth without forced draughts.

Does the Warmy heater use a lot of electricity?

Not necessarily. Its 2000W rating indicates the maximum power, but actual electricity consumption depends on how long the heater is heating. The thermostat switches off the heating once the selected temperature is reached and turns it back on when needed to maintain comfort. As a guide, one hour of continuous heating at full power uses 2 kWh of electricity. In everyday use, consumption may be lower thanks to the thermostat. Actual running costs will depend on the room's insulation, the outdoor temperature and your chosen temperature setting.

What room size is the Warmy heater suitable for?

It is designed to heat rooms up to 20 m², such as large bedrooms or living rooms. Its heating performance may vary depending on your home's insulation and the outdoor temperature.

Can I control it from my phone when I'm away from home?

Yes. Once the radiator is set up in the app and connected to your home Wi-Fi, you can adjust the temperature and settings from anywhere. The radiator must remain plugged in and connected to Wi-Fi with internet access, while your phone can use either Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Are glass panel heaters noisy?

No. They do not use a fan, so they operate almost silently without creating draughts.

Does it stop heating when it reaches the set temperature?

Yes. The thermostat stops heating once the selected temperature is reached and switches it back on when needed. This maintains a comfortable room temperature without the heating element running continuously.

Does a glass panel heater require maintenance?

No complicated maintenance is required. Simply remove any accumulated dust regularly using a soft cloth, always making sure the heater is switched off, unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
