5 Halloween Desserts to Surprise the Kids at Home.

If you want to make the little ones happy with a fun dessert, here are a few ideas that are very easy to prepare and with great results. The kids will be satisfied!

1. Cake with a pumpkin face using yogurt measurement.

Next, we present a very easy-to-make cake using the measurements of a yogurt cup. If you want, you can use another cake recipe that you love.

Ingredients:

  • 3 measures of flour.
  • 2 measures of sugar.
  • 3 eggs.
  • 2 measures of sunflower oil.
  • 1 lemon yogurt.
  • Lemon zest.
  • Orange zest.
  • Half a packet of baking powder.
  • A teaspoon of vanilla powder.
  •  Sugar glass.

Method of preparation:

1. Put the  yogurt, the  eggs and the sugar in a bowl and beat with the  Spiro hand blender.

2. Next, add the  flour and the baking powder previously sifted, the vanilla powder, and the lemon and orange zest. Mix until you get a batter.

3. Meanwhile,  preheat the oven to 180 degrees for a few minutes.

4. Grease a round mold with butter and add the mixture. Let it bake in the oven for about 35 minutes without opening the door.

5. Let the cake cool and unmold. Place a stencil with a pumpkin face on it and sprinkle with  sugar glass. Remove the stencil and enjoy a different pumpkin... in the form of a cake.

2. Chocolate Cream Shots, Shredded Coconut, and Dark Blood.

These shots are a real delight for the senses. Also, if you don't want the kids to have too many sweets, these are so tiny that the little ones will have dessert without needing to consume too much sugar.

Ingredients:

  • 75 grams of chocolate for melting.
  • 1 egg.
  • 300 ml of whole milk.
  • 5 grams of cornstarch.
  • Sugar to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
  • 1 tablespoon of shredded coconut.
  • Chocolate syrup.
  • Candy eyes.
  • Maria cookies.

Method of preparation:

1. Put the chocolate in a saucepan with half of the milk and the cinnamon powder. Let it melt over low heat. When it is melted, taste it to see if it needs some sugar.

2. Mix the other half of the milk with the cornstarch, add the egg, and beat with the Spiro blender. 

4. Gradually incorporate the egg mixture into the chocolate while stirring continuously. Finally, add the shredded coconut and stir.

5. Put at the base of the shot glass some pieces of crumbled cookies soaked in milk.

6. Add the cream and, when it is warm, place it in the refrigerator until it is cold.

7. Place a candy eye on each shot glass. Decorate with chocolate syrup and let it drip a little over the glass as if it were blood.

3. Classic Halloween-style cookies. 

Who doesn't love chocolate cookies ? If you now give them a ghost or vampire shape, for example, the kids will like them even more. Take note because these cookies disappear instantly!

Ingredients:

  • 560 grams of flour.
  • 350 grams of sugar.
  • 125 ml of semi-skimmed milk.
  • 125 ml of mild olive oil.
  • 2 eggs.
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder.
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
  • Chocolate chips.

Method of preparation:

1. Beat with our  Spirothe eggs with the sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and oil.

2. Add the milk, flour, and baking powder.

3. Incorporate the chocolate chips.

4. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and cut it with cookie cutters with party-themed shapes like pumpkins, ghosts, and others.

5. Place the cookies in the oven and leave them until they are ready.

4. Sweet toasts

If desserts are not your thing or you don't have time to prepare them, these toasts are very simple and kids love them.

Ingredients:

  • Sandwich toasts.
  • Cocoa cream.
  • Strawberry jam.
  • Smarties.

Method of preparation:

1. Spread the toasts with cocoa cream and then with strawberry jam. Add the Smarties as if they were two eyes and teeth  of caramel.

2. Another version is to fill the toasts with jam and chocolate, and put another slice on top. Then, cut them with a cookie cutter in the shape of a vampire, little ghost, or any other theme of Night of the Living Dead that the kids like.

5. Corn flour cream with Halloween included inside.

Corn flour cream is a classic dessert. You can turn it into a surprise for the All Souls' Day party. Just add some candies. Let's discover it!

Ingredients:

  • 1 glass of semi-skimmed milk.
  • 3 tablespoons of corn flour.
  • Sugar to taste.
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon.
  • Chocolate/strawberry syrup. 
  • Candy eyes and worms.
  • Sugar.

Preparation method:

1. Reserve a little bit of milk to dissolve the corn flour.

2. Heat the rest of the milk with the sugar and cinnamon.

3. Add the mixture to the milk and stir it over low heat in one of our Cocotte cast iron pots until it has thickened.

4. Remember to stir well with a hand blender like our Spiro so that no lumps form.

4. Serve in bowls and garnish with a little chocolate or strawberry syrup according to the children's taste.
