  • 250 g of strong flour.
  • 1 tablespoon of EVOO.
  • Half a spoon of salt.
  • 10 g of fresh yeast.
  • 170 ml of warm water.

For this preparation, we will also use the hook on the mixer. The first step is to mix the fresh yeast with the water at medium speed until it is integrated. Then, we add the rest of the ingredients and let it knead at low speed for about 5 minutes. Thanks to this, we will obtain a homogeneous dough. Increase the speed to medium and leave for another three minutes.

It's time to rest, it will need between one and two hours to rise and double its size. After that, you will have to degas before you start stretching.

Prepare the tray with baking paper and spread the dough over the surface. It's time to use your favorite ingredients, don't forget the tomato and cheese. While you prepare it, preheat the oven to 200 degrees. In about 20 minutes it will be ready to enjoy.

Pastry dough.

  • 110 g of butter
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

  • 15 g of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of milk

Before starting, it is important to preheat the oven to 180 degrees. The first thing is to beat the butter until it is creamy and add the sugar. When the dough is homogeneous, divide it among the 8 molds.

To do this, you have to beat 165 g of butter with a teaspoon of vanilla essence and 280 g of powdered sugar. You will need to use the whisk and beat at high speed until you don't feel the grains.

Empanada Dough.

Finally, we present you a recipe for the preparation of empanada dough. In this case, we will need the following ingredients:

  • 10 tablespoons of oil from the filling sauté based on EVOO.
  • 40 g of fresh yeast.
  • 200 ml of warm water.
  • 600 g of strong wheat flour.
  • 7 g of salt.

First, dissolve the yeast in the water and incorporate it into the flour (set aside 4 tablespoons). Finally, add the oil and salt and knead at minimum speed for at least 15 minutes. The remaining flour will be gradually incorporated until the dough does not stick to the sides of the bowl.

Finally, let it rest for an hour with a damp cloth. After removing the gas, divide the dough into two, and you already have the base and the top to fill your empanada.
